On March 14, the Management Committee of Hejian Economic Development Zone held an "Enterprise On-site Management Experience Exchange Meeting". Kevin Bai, the Chairman of JD-Electric, attended and delivered a speech at the meeting.
Kevin Bai reviewed the entrepreneurial journey of JD-Electric. Over its 50-year development history, the working environment has become increasingly standardized and modernized. In the 1970s, JD-Electric started designing and manufacturing switchgear in garages and courtyards. At the end of the 1990s, JD-Electric began to research and develop composite insulators and initiated the planning and construction of its first modern factory. In the early 21st century, JD-Electric's first modern factory was completed, equipped with dedicated raw material warehouses, finished product warehouses, forging workshops, machining workshops, FRP rod pultrusion workshops, rubber mixing workshops, vulcanization workshops, and injection molding workshops. Modern production management concepts such as partitioned material storage, logged-in material flow, partitioned operations, and quality inspection throughout the production process have gradually been ingrained in the minds of every employee. In 2024, JD-Electric built its second modern factory in Hejian Economic Development Zone. Benefiting from its mature experience, the No. 2 factory was successfully put into production in only half a year.
After the meeting, government leaders led the participants to visit JD-Electric's No. 2 factory and gave high praise. The government leaders stated that in the future, on-site management experience exchange activities for entrepreneurs will be actively held, and management experts and scholars will be invited to give lectures locally. The goal is to build the economic development zone into a modern manufacturing cluster in China, ensuring product quality through scientific management, helping enterprises enter the supply chains of large domestic and foreign enterprises, and promoting the long-term innovation and stable development of enterprises.
